Our locals on the ground Lance and Darcey have organised a deal for us at the Phoenician Complex, details below. It is large and spacious with impressive lobby.
They have 25 rooms which face in different directions which are 1 Bed Apartments with Laundry, Kitchen ensuite, prices as detailed. It is block and half to beach but surrounded by many restaurants and shops.
This is a very good price for Friday/Sat nights during School Holidays.
We have reserved 25 rooms which are to be booked and paid for individually – please confirm you are with the Flying Rotarians when booking.
$250 deposit to be paid on booking which can be refunded up to 2 weeks prior to October 12.
Balance to be paid 2 weeks prior.
A small number of rooms have showers in the bath, please state your requirements.
When booking request an east or north facing room.
Some rooms backed on to Gold coast Highway, there was very little noise but again just say you do not want to be near highway.
No meals available at the hotel. There is a Cafe next door for breakfast, and a thousand other options in the area.
For those that would prefer a larger room with full ocean views you can book at a range of places between the Phoenician and Kurrawa Surf Life Club.
Situated directly across the road from the Gold Coast Convention Centre. Boasting 110 spacious one and two bedroom self-contained apartments all with balconies, the Phoenician Resort Apartments are a must in Gold Coast accommodation.

TRANSPORT
BRISBANE AIRPORT:
If you are arriving at BNE Airport you can catch a train direct to Helensvale on the Gold Coast.
It takes 90 mins and leaves from both Domestic and International Terminals.
It is a direct service and you do not need to change trains.
Then travel on G Link on the new modern Light Rail Tram that meets every train with a scenic ride via Surfers Paradise to Broadbeach North Station.
Takes 42 mins for 20 km ride which is approx 4 mins walk to Phoenician Resort, enter Resort ONLY from Queensland Avenue.
Resort takes up the whole block and the entrance is off Queensland Avenue.
Book both Train and Tram Tickets online as is cheaper than buying at the Stations.
YSPT (Southport):
Those arriving at YSPT, Uber to Helensvale Station, it is 7 km and takes 15 mins and catch GLink Tram at Platform 4 to Hotel.
Tram leaves every 15 mins and takes 42 min
Or Uber direct to Broadbeach it is 17.2 km and takes approx 40 mins.
GOLD COAST / COOLANGATTA:
From YBCG Airport book Online a Con-X-ion Bus to Broadbeach – 19 km and takes 40 mins.

We do charge a 1.8% credit card fee or we do accept transfer into the bank account we can send details once booked.
- Rates are based on stays of a min 3 nights.
- Rates quoted are $AUD per apartment per night.
- The Rates are room only.
- Extra Bed cost $40.00 per night includes Sofa bed or Rollaway with linen.
- All bookings, amendments or cancellations must be in writing.
- We require guest rooming list 14 days prior to arrival.
No amendments or changes after this time.
- Bookings cancelled within 14 days of Arrival are 100% NON REFUNDABLE.
- All apartments require one Adult over 18+ years.
- Bookings cancelled within 7 days of Arrival or a No Show are full payment.
- Bond: A $200 credit card or cash bond per room is required upon check in. If bond is on credit card it will be held for 5-10 working days and then automatically released.
- All Apartments are self-contained and no services are included. If staying 8 days or more, a refresh service with change of linen etc is provided free of charge.
- Check in time is from 2pm and check out time is 10am (we can store luggage if you arrive early)
